Terms and conditions

  1. General provisions and definitions

The vendor is Fedora d. o. o., Dolanci 6, 6222 Štanjel, Slovenia.

The buyer is any natural or legal person who concludes a sales contract with the vendor, places an order verbally or in writing, or receives a receipt issued by the vendor at the time of purchase.

By placing an order, the buyer confirms that they accept these general terms and conditions. Both the buyer and the vendor are bound by these terms and conditions.

The sales contract is concluded at the vendor’s registered office and is available to the buyer upon request, as well as to competent supervisory authorities.

The buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. The goods must be returned undamaged and in accordance with the conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions.

 

  1. Ordering goods / Conclusion of contract

Orders may be placed through the online store at fedorawines.com, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The buyer may choose from any products published in the online store. If a product is currently unavailable, the buyer may send an inquiry to fedorawines@gmail.com or call +386 41 867 286, and the vendor will provide information about possible delivery.

All prices are valid until new prices are published on the website. All prices are stated in EUR and include VAT (22%).

Products are delivered by GLS d. o. o.

The buyer may browse and order products on the fedorawines.com website.

By clicking the “Finish order” button during the checkout process, the buyer confirms that they fully understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.

Purchase in the online store may be subject to registration requirements on fedorawines.com.

By clicking “Add to cart”, the buyer confirms:

that they are of legal age under applicable law to purchase alcoholic beverages; and

that they have full legal capacity.

The sale of alcoholic beverages to minors is prohibited. The buyer must be of legal age at the time of purchase. If this condition is not met, the contract shall be deemed null and void.

After the online order has been completed, the buyer will receive an email containing the details of the order and delivery.

 

Purchase procedure

The fedorawines.com website displays product prices inclusive of VAT.

To purchase a product, the buyer must click the “Add to basket” button. The shopping cart displays the products that the buyer has added during their visit to the online store. To remove a product from the cart, the buyer must click the cross next to the selected product.

The buyer completes the order by clicking the “Buy now” button.

If the buyer is not already logged in or registered, they must enter the information required for delivery. They must then select their preferred payment method: bank transfer, cash on delivery, PayPal, or credit card.

If the order is successfully completed, the website will display the message: “Thank you. Your order has been accepted.” In addition, the buyer will receive an email confirmation at the email address provided during the purchase process.

 

Order confirmation

Upon completion of the order, the buyer will receive an email containing the order details at the email address provided during checkout. This message will also state that any further questions may be addressed to fedorawines@gmail.com.

The buyer may cancel the order within two hours of placing it. After this period, cancellation may no longer be possible if order processing has already begun.

 

Changes to the order

If the buyer wishes to change any details of an order that has already been placed, they may do so by replying directly to the confirmation email with the subject line “We received your order” or by contacting us at fedorawines@gmail.com.

 

Contract

The sales contract between the vendor and the buyer is concluded at the moment the online order is completed.From that moment onward, all prices and other conditions are binding on both the buyer and the vendor.

The contract is stored at the company’s headquarters and may be accessed by the buyer in person, by post, or by email upon request.

 

Order status

The buyer is informed of the status of their order by email. Any change in the status of the order is communicated to the buyer through the email address provided during the purchase process.

The buyer will also receive an email if one of the ordered items is temporarily unavailable. Buyers are therefore advised to check their inbox regularly.

 

  1. Prices and payment

All prices are stated in EUR (€) and include VAT.

The following payment methods are available:

  • cash on delivery by GLS;
  • payment in advance by bank transfer (the shipment is dispatched after payment has been received);
  • credit card (Visa, Mastercard);
  • PayPal.

  1. Online prices

Prices shown in the online store apply only to purchases made through the online store and may differ from prices in physical retail locations or other sales channels.

We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. Despite our best efforts, errors may occasionally occur. In the event of an obvious pricing error, the vendor reserves the right to cancel the order or offer the buyer the option to proceed under the corrected conditions.

 

  1. Payment methods

Payment for ordered goods may be made in one of the following ways:

Cash on delivery / card payment on delivery

The buyer pays the order to the delivery person upon receipt of the goods, either in cash or by card, where available.

Advance payment by bank transfer

The vendor issues an invoice for the ordered goods by email. The buyer pays the invoice by bank transfer to the company’s bank account. The goods are shipped as soon as payment is received.

PayPal

The buyer is redirected to a secure PayPal page, where the payment is completed. The goods are shipped once PayPal confirms receipt of payment.The buyer will receive the invoice at the address or email address provided during the purchase process, as applicable.

 

  1. Delivery terms

Goods that are in stock will be dispatched no later than 5 working days after the order is placed, unless stated otherwise.

Shipping costs are charged according to the applicable delivery price list.

 

  1. Unavailable items

In exceptional cases, we may be unable to dispatch one or more ordered products because they have sold out and are no longer in stock.

If this happens, we will inform the buyer as soon as possible and agree on the most appropriate solution, such as replacement, partial shipment, delayed delivery, or refund.

 

  1. Protection of personal data

For business purposes, the vendor may collect the following personal data:

  • first and last name;
  • address and place of residence;
  • email address;
  • username;
  • password (stored in protected form);
  • phone number;
  • year of birth;
  • and other data entered by the user in forms on fedorawines.com.

 

The vendor undertakes to collect, store, process, and protect personal data in accordance with applicable Slovenian and EU legislation governing personal data protection.

The vendor collects personal data directly from customers during the ordering process. The vendor will not disclose such data to third parties except where required by law or where disclosure is necessary for the fulfilment of the order (for example, to delivery or payment service providers).

Except for communication related to the order and where otherwise permitted by law, the vendor will not contact the buyer without the buyer’s prior consent.

The website and related services are protected by appropriate technical and organisational security measures. The vendor undertakes to take all reasonable precautions to protect payment and personal data. However, the vendor shall not be liable for any loss or misuse of data unless caused by its own negligence or wilful misconduct.

The vendor may store IP addresses of website visitors for the period required by law, as well as additional data relating to registered users, including:

  • name and surname;
  • email address;
  • phone number;
  • permanent address;
  • delivery address;
  • date and time of registration;
  • and communication with the vendor

The vendor will use personal data solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order, communicating with the buyer, issuing invoices, providing support, and carrying out other activities directly related to the purchase.

Where the buyer has given appropriate consent, the vendor may also use personal data for direct marketing and for analysing purchasing habits in order to offer more relevant products and content. The buyer may at any time request, in writing, that the vendor permanently or temporarily cease using their data for such purposes.

Under no circumstances will personal data be disclosed to unauthorised persons or used for purposes other than those for which it was collected, unless the buyer has given explicit consent or disclosure is required by law.
